Black College Championships Alexander Wyche created Minority Baseball Prospects (MBP) in 2020. An organization designed to identify, recognize, and provide exposure to minority baseball players worldwide. MBP has become one of the biggest baseball companies in the world providing events over the last year that has touched thousands of prospects around the world that includes MBP High School Showdown, MBP Historically Black College and Universities (HBCU) All-Star Game, MBP Collegiate League, MBP Regionals, MBP Coaches/Parents Clinic, MBP All-American Game, and MBP Educational Tutorials. 

Wyche’s mission is to promote the game of baseball worldwide by hosting the highest quality events for minority baseball prospects while providing meaningful opportunities and information to minority players, families, MLB organizations, collegiate coaches, and fans. 

The purpose of the Minority Baseball Prospect All-American Game is to highlight and promote the best minority baseball prospects in the country to major league scouts and college coaches and inspire the next generation of diverse players throughout the country to continue to play the game of baseball and use the game to produce productive citizens in the community. 

For the players, the game will consist of unique and once-in-a-lifetime experiences such as the first-ever live ALL-STAR draft and other programs that educate and prepare these players for college and professional baseball in the future. 

Minority Baseball Prospects Provides the following:

  • Collaborate with MLB and various other baseball partners to help the game grow.
  • Create baseball fans.
  • Help ensure that minority baseball players are continually encouraged to play baseball.
  • Utilize best practices for the safety and care of baseball players.
  • Host events at best in class facilities and venues.
  • Encourage participation from all ages and areas around the world.
  • Identify, recognize, and provide exposure for minority players and teams.
  • Educate and assist parents, players, and everyone involved in the game of baseball.

Wyche received his Bachelor Degree from Armstrong State University where he was all conference three times and in 2010, led the Nation in stolen bases.
